Tuesday marks the beginning of the Celtic tree month of Elder. John Dee notes in his diary on November 25, 1595, the news of Edward Kelley’s death. Kelley was a convicted criminal and possibly the archetype for the charlatan alchemist. He claimed to see spirits dancing on crystal balls and to know the secret for transmuting base metals into gold.

On Wednesday, the 26^th, the moon will be void at 7:32 am.

Thursday is Thanksgiving day in the United States. The Moon enters Sagittarius at 12:14 am, and becomes New at 11:54 am.

New Hampshire Seacoast Pagans have their monthly meeting at Karnan House in Portsmouth, from 2:00 to 6:00.
This is an informal gathering for Pagans. Most of us are from the Portsmouth Seacoast area, but all are welcome. We provide free coffee and tea, and usually somebody will bring some food. There’s no agenda – just hanging out, networking and good conversation.

MotherRoots Healing Center presents...

Red Tent Temple

Welcome All Women!

Event Details: Red Tent Temple

Beginning this month when the darkest and coldest time of the year embraces us, Mother Rooots will be hosting a monthly non-denominational Red Tent Temple for women of all ages! Come and warm your body, rest your soul and uplift your spirit in sacred, women's space! Inspired by Anita Diamant's novel, The Red Tent, women everywhere are raising their own Red Tent Temples on or around the new moon, all over the country every month to honor the natural rhythms and cycles of women. This is a collaborative experience. We will need women to step forward to help priestess this event by bringing soup, herbal teas, offering healing work, helping to set up the space, etc. and we call on all women who are craving time to rest, heal, do some divination, or simply, BE ~ without any agenda at all ~ in the sacred women's space of the Red Tent Temple. Bring your journals, your knitting, or your favorite book. Come to rest, to nap, to dance, to sing, to heal, to renew. Wear a little red! Please bring your own mugs, bowl and spoon.

There is a $5 - 10 donation to help cover costs. The first Red Tent Temple will be on Sunday, November 30 from 3 - 8pm. A formal circle will be held from 5-7. (Set-up volunteers please arrive earlier - call to let them know if you can help out and in which way you would like to do so.)

Young, newly bleeding women are especially welcome, along with the women-elders in our community!

An exploration of the basic cosmology of the ancient Celts and the most
important symbols of Celtic and Druidic sacred mythology. Why are certain
objects sacred to Pagan tradition such as the cauldron, sword, spear and

structure of Celtic ceremony.
